Good morning!  As you can see, Sofie met a turtle today.  She was very unsure about it because she had never seen such a strange thing.  She's crouched ready to make off if he/she tries to viciously attack her.   Each time she pulled away, it poked it's head out and each time she sniffed closer, it pulled it's head back in.  She found it to be a very confusing thing. 

It had somehow gotten out through some fencing and was stuck away from where the pond was so I put him/her back on a rock close to the water.  You're welcome, turt. 

In other news, today Brian gets off work at 2pm!  Yay!  We are going to leave early to go to Chatham for the 4th and come back on Thursday.  Sorry if you are reading this Edna - yes - we are coming out today and no - we hadn't told you yet ;)  We will have two small friendly, fuzzy, black pups that are excited to say hello with us.
