Good morning & Happy Birthday to my little Sofie! She is 1 today - not that she has any idea about that :) I thought I'd post a picture of the dirt hole she likes so much. She digs in this one spot every day and even with the remaining snow pile, she dug through to get the delicious dirt below. When she gets to this spot she digs furiously and then smashes her little face against the dirt and eats big mouthfuls. I have no idea why. Sorry for all of the horizon pictures lately. There are 2 reasons for this: first, it is winter so there is not much living for me to take pictures of right now, and second, when the light stays low for the entire walk, horizons are pretty much the only things that photograph well. Once it starts getting warmer there will be some more variety to the photos. For now you'll have to enjoy the sunrises at a time when sunrise doesn't mean - "Oh no! It's about to become 100 degrees!" ha ha.
