Good morning! Had a beautiful morning in the Park today! It was clear-skied enough that the sunrise was incredible. It also wasn't too cold - about 40 degrees - and even though the weather said there was a wind advisory, I thought it was very pleasant. Sofie met her friend Logan, the flat-coated retriever, on both parts of her walk. He is such a sweet and gentle dog. I always thought flat-coated retrievers were basically just black golden retrievers, but I found out today that they're actually a mix between an Irish Setter and a Newfoundland. Logan's owner is a trainer and so Logan is very well-behaved and sweet. He does the thing where he just leans against you to get attention. Sofie and him always chase one another around as fast as they can. Today he knocked her over and she whimpered and yelped a little, but then was right back at it running here and there. She's full of drama some days.
