Central Park East - 7:05am
Good morning! The picture above is what Sofie looks like most mornings because she stops to chew up and eat little pieces of sticks all along our walk. Twas a cold one out there this morning. 3 layers, gloves, a hat, and a scarf were just not enough. When the doormen called their hellos to me on my way back to the apartment, my lips were too cold to respond with an intelligible "good morning!" Instead it sounded more like "gh, mrning."
It wasn't just because of the temperature - it was windy, too. Either way, there were lots of people out so Sofie saw most of her dog friends. It doesn't make any sense what day people are out and when they're not. Anyway - tonight is the Westminster Dog Show so I'm showing my true crazy dog lady tendencies when I say, I plan to stay in all night, fore go working out (Mondays I usually rest anyway), and watch the show with Sofie and Brian. Sofie already told me she heard the Cavalier is expected to be Best in Show and she thinks it's rigged if it turns out any other way. She's such a supremacist - it's embarassing!
Anyway, enough of my silliness. It's time for breakfast.
